An IOU tracker that shows who owes you, and who you owe
An IOU is easy to make and easy to forget. "I will pay you back" turns into a vague memory two weeks later. Hisabzo is an IOU tracker that writes each one down, so you always know who owes you money, who you owe and how much is left.
Why write IOUs down
Small amounts add up, and so do awkward conversations. A clear record means you do not have to guess, and the person on the other side gets a clear answer too.
With Hisabzo each person has a page of entries and a running balance, so a quick look is enough to see where you stand.
It also helps when memories differ. Instead of arguing about whether something was Rs 5,000 or Rs 6,000, you can both look at the dated entries and the repayments that followed.
A quick way to record an IOU
You only need a few seconds per entry.
- Add the person once, or import them from your contacts.
- Record the amount you gave, or the amount you received, with the date.
- Add each repayment as it arrives. The remaining amount updates automatically.
- When the balance reaches zero, the person shows as Settled.
Remind people politely
When a payment is overdue you can send a WhatsApp reminder, or share a statement that lists exactly what was lent and repaid. You can also switch on optional due-date reminder emails in Settings.
Your records stay in your own account and are visible only when you are signed in.
